Fall in LOVE with… French!
Have fun whilst learning and broaden your knowledge To truly master and perfect your French, you need to immerse yourself in the culture and be exposed to the language as much as you can. And to do so, you will need to implement French in your daily life. In order not to make it a chore, you can simply associate it with something fun and you enjoy! In such a way, you will expand your cultural knowledge whilst developing your French skills. You not only learn something new but also enrich your French vocabulary with interesting expressions. If you enjoy and are more interested in your learning process, you will be more likely to succeed.

About Lesson

A- Your big WHY

By purchasing this programme, you already know what your goal is : to get a top grade in your French exam.

The question now is: Why do you want to get a 9 in your French exam? If you want to succeed, it is important to have long-term motivations. Think of how you see yourself in 5 or 10 years. What will this top grade in French bring you in your life?

It could be for different reasons:

-you dream to have French in your A Level

-you fell in love with French

-it’s a requirement for my dream job or career

-you want to prove yourself you can do it

-you dream to go to a particular university or high school

-Any other reason!

How would that feel? Imagine how great it would be to get to your dream! I want you to dive into your French learning without being discouraged!

Remember that learning a foreign language is a long journey! Make the most of your learning experience as you are very lucky to learn it from now on! Every student has a different goal and that’s fine. The most important thing is to understand why you want to achieve the best grade.

Exercise

Take a few minutes to reflect on this question. Open the “Exercise files” section on the top right of your screen and download the PDF called “My big WHY”.  Complete it by making a sentence like : “I want to get a top grade in my French exam because …. If I achieve it, it will bring me…”

Feel free to share it with me, I am excited to know what your big WHY is!

B- Stick on your big WHY

Now you’ve reflected on it and you have your big why, write it down on a paper with color, the design of your choice or simply print it. It is important to have it written down. Stick it somewhere in your study place or material where you can see it regularly. It can be on your laptop, on a wall, on your French booklet… Do it now! From now on, it’s important that you stick to your motivations to achieve your goal. Set is as a challenge to prove to yourself you can do it!
